Ákos Birkás is a Hungarian fine artist, he is one of the most prominent figures of the contemporary Hungarian fine art scene. He graduated from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in 1965. He worked as a professor in Salzburg and as lecturer in Paris at École Nationale des Beaux-Arts. As a result of Gábor Bódy, he made a short experimental film in which images stand for/display specific relationships and formulas.
