Gyula Nemes is a Hungarian filmmaker involved in both documentary and fiction films. studied Czech and Hungarian literature together with film theory at ELTE in Budapest. Later on he carried on with his film studies at Prague’s FAMU under the supervision of Věra Chytilová and Karel Vachek. His experimentalism draws on the tradition of lyrical documentaries.
