János Vető is a photographer, a fine artist, a poet and a filmmaker, a significant figure of the Hungarian underground of the 70s and 80s. He is currently based in Denmark. After spending some years as a child actor in theaters, Vető started experimenting with photography. As he became good friends János Baksa-Soós, one his main subjects was the famous Hungarian rock band, called KEX. After Baksa-Soós emigrated to Germany and his close friend and fellow artist, Tamás Szentjóby was arrested then deported from Hungary, he met Tibor Hajas which gave a new impetus to his artistic (and anti-regime) activities. He made his two experimental film in the Balázs Béla Studio, both of them were part of the Experanima-series.
