Péter Lichter‘s No Signal Detected had been selected for ExiS 2014 competition program. EXiS Experimental Film & Video screens an international selection of experimental films and video of all themes and counts as the biggest avant-garde film festival in Asia. This year’s program lists twenty new video works representing the contemporary avant-garde film and video art scene, including films from Harun Farocki, Patrick Bokanowski and Peter Gidal.

No Signal Detected illustrates the rhytmical combat of digital and chemical decay through the physical deconstruction of Bruce Lee’s cult kung-fu film, Enter the Dragon (1973). Lichter’s film was previously screened at the Oberhausen International Short Film Festival, at VIDEOEX in Zurich and Other Cinema, an avan-garde film theater in San Francisco.

In 2009 ExiS invited another Hungarian film, Lost World (2008) from Gyula Nemes which got the Fuji Award.
